Lighting concepts realised in no time at all: that is the greatest strength of LIPROTEC-EASY products. Whether in indoor areas, showers or in protected outdoor areas: The LED modules can be plugged in, the LED strip can be shortened at the marked cutting points and sealed again to maintain its IP degree of protection. It's easy, literally. 

In addition, the prefabricated modules and sets can be combined with any of the LIPROTEC accessories that are required for the individual project. The LIPROTEC-CONTROL control system can be used, for example, to conveniently control one or more light sources from a single control element. Time-dependent programming is also available. The choice of remote control – whether the one included in the Classic or Starter Set, our LIPROTEC app for mobile devices or the rotary switch available as an accessory – is up to you.

Projects that require a connection to the mains supply generally call for caution – especially if the installation is to be carried out in wet areas. Additional safety requirements in accordance with DIN VDE 0100 must be observed in the shower, for example, due to the water present.

But with Schlüter-LIPROTEC, you don’t need to worry about those things: All products are protected against splash water at least with protection class IP65, making them ideally suited for use in wet rooms. Another advantage is that the carrier profiles are installed on the waterproofing layer using the proven KERDI system our prefabricated niches made from KERDI-BOARD are already part of the bonded waterproofing. Regardless of whether your lighting project is for residential or commercial premises, a bathroom or a protected outdoor area, LIPROTEC solutions can be used with confidence and flexibility in a wide range of environments.

When selecting linear LED lights, technical light factors such as colour temperature, colour rendering and light distribution play a role. A central quality feature of the LIPROTEC components is their evenly illuminated surface. The homogeneous light output creates a sense of calm in the space and a modern, clean lighting effect – without any separate LED light points being visible or causing unpleasant reflections. This diffuse light distribution ensures that the illuminated profiles produce a visually comfortable light that is pleasing even during prolonged use in living spaces, offices and work areas.

At the same time, the high colour rendering index of LIPROTEC of Ra > 90 ensures that colours, materials and even skin tones are rendered in a natural way and with almost no distortion. This results in a lively, high-quality and authentic atmosphere.

The idea behind LIPROTEC is to make it as easy as possible to integrate innovative lighting concepts into the tile covering. The range of LIPROTEC-EASY products only includes modules and sets to make planning and installation as straightforward as possible. The LED modules already include a carrier profile and LED strip, whereas the KERDI-BOARD sets for illuminated niches consist of the complete system of niche, waterproofing material and lighting components. Light installation made easy!

We have also put together three sets in the LIPROTEC-PRO range, which contain all the necessary components for illuminated staircases, backlit wall panels and decorative or mirror frames. This does not prevent you from continuing to combine the system components with one another.
