Fliesen Heukäufer impressively demonstrates how modern and stylish bathrooms with level entry showers can look: In the neighbouring town of Wallmenroth, the master craftsman's business has renovated the variously sized bathrooms in a multi-family home. The key components included the Schlüter-KERDI-LINE system for level entry showers as well as the LIPROTEC illuminated profiles and the QUADEC edge protection profiles.
Heukäufer implemented the modern and elegant linear drainage of the shower and vanity unit using the KERDI-LINE-D variant from the Schlüter-KERDI-LINE system. For unobtrusive covering of the drainage channels, the TILE covering support was used to echo the tiled flooring again. This comes from Sant' Agostino and was laid in a 1.20 x 1.20 metre format. This lets the water drain away through the narrow joint that blends almost invisibly into the surface of the floor and the vanity unit.
KERDI-LINE is a complete system that, besides the channel body and grate/frame construction, also includes the components required for reliable waterproofing in conjunction with the tile covering. This can be used to create bathrooms that comply with the DIN 18534 waterproofing standard for indoor applications. The system for level entry showers also includes a matching board that provides the necessary incline and guides the water towards the linear drain. A level entry shower like this makes the bathroom seem more spacious and also ensures the greatest possible comfort for users.
To protect the tile edges and match the colour of the tile covering, we installed Schlüter-QUADEC profiles in the TRENDLINE colour of stone grey.
Not only does the elegant colouring of the Schlüter-QUADEC profiles impress in the TRENDLINE coating in stone grey, but also the tactile surface thanks to the texture of their coating. In addition to this design component, they also reliably protect the tile edges from mechanical damage.
The Schlüter-LIPROTEC profiles installed in the showers and wash areas set pleasant lighting accents and create discreet ambient lighting that makes you feel good. This results in bathrooms that are as functional as they are elegant and fulfil all the requirements of a modern bathroom.
