The idea
Schlüter-QUADEC profiles were developed to reimagine tile edging – not as a purely functional accessory, but as a deliberately chosen design element. Edges should not be hidden, but rather precisely crafted and designed to be visible. Instead of soft curves, QUADEC relies on right angled, square lines that harmonise with modern architecture and minimalist interior design.
At the same time, the profiles ensure that every edge is perfectly fitted and every corner is reliably protected – even in areas subject to heavy use, such as kitchens, bathrooms or common spaces. QUADEC profiles stand for ease of installation which is apparent from the finer details. Each profile is manufactured with precision, the surfaces are flawlessly finished and the edges are perfectly defined. Premium finishing profiles such as QUADEC‑A, made from anodised aluminium, offer finishes that range from natural matt to polished and can be colour-matched to tiles, joints or equipment.
The joint spacers are integrated directly to ensure that the result not only looks good but also functions with precision. They ensure consistent, clean finishing edges. Together with the proven Schlüter system, this provides solutions that impress consistently and visibly enhance any space.

As well as being convenient to process, QUADEC profiles are impressive for their reliable edge protection. All versions reliably protect the visible edges and external corners of tiles from mechanical stress and splintering. QUADEC‑E, made from stainless steel, is extremely robust and corrosion-resistant, which makes it suitable for heavily used areas or floor finishes, such as on staircases. For decorative external edge profiles with lower levels of wear, QUADEC‑PQ offers UV-resistant, coloured PVC profiles. Each corner and every line remains perfectly aligned, so that even heavily used rooms are protected – without compromising the aesthetic appeal.

QUADEC profiles resemble a neatly crafted frame: understated in appearance, yet striking in effect. Can QUADEC profiles be customised?
Schlüter-QUADEC-AC can be ordered with a coating option from 190 colours of the RAL Classic chart as part of the MyDesign by Schlüter-Systems or custom-printed with a design of your choice. When used with Schlüter-TRENDLINE, QUADEC also becomes a decorative element: The coloured powder coating adds a new visual and tactile quality to the profiles and allows them to be colour-coordinated with wall and floor coverings.
Are there any specific instructions for maintenance and care?
Schlüter-QUADEC requires no special maintenance or care. Our recommendation: It is better not to use abrasive cleaning products on delicate surfaces.
