DITRA-DRAIN for bonded drainage and bonded uncoupling over KERDI bonded waterproofing

The bonded waterproofing assembly Schlüter-KERDI, which is bonded with hydraulically setting thin-bed mortar, protects the supporting structure, which is designed with a surface slope, against permeating moisture.

The passive capillary bonded drainage membrane Schlüter-DITRA-DRAIN is installed in an adhesive between the waterproofing layer and the tile covering. This results in broad subaeration of the top covering, which in turn promotes the quick and even drying/curing of the adhesive.

The uncoupling function of DITRA-DRAIN neutralises any occurring stresses.
