The waterproofing assembly, designed with a surface slope that meets the requirements of DIN 18531, protects the support structure against the penetration of water.

Schlüter-TROBA-PLUS is installed as a drainage membrane between the waterproofing layer and the load distribution layer (screed) to drain away seepage.

The passive capillary bonded drainage and uncoupling Schlüter-DITRA-DRAIN is installed in thin-bed mortar between the screed and the tile covering.

This results in broad ventilation of the top covering, which in turn promotes the quick and even drying/curing of the thin-bed mortar.
