Schlüter-KERDI-LINE is a multi-piece, linear drainage system for creating floor-level showers with ceramic tiles, natural stone or coatings. It consists of a formed stainless steel channel body as well as different grate/frame assembly options. These can be continuously adjusted to different floor covering thicknesses using the supplied installation aid. KERDI-LINE is suitable for intermediate installation in floors or wall areas.
The frame assemblies are available in 3 versions:
- A profile frame with a 10 mm wide visible surface in a brushed, polished or powder coated finish
- A contour frame with elegant design grates
- A TF frame with minimal visible surface and optimal edge protection.
Schlüter-KERDI-LINE-H with horizontal drain features an integrated odour trap and a drain body.
Height of channel support: DN 40 (40 mm) = 78 mm DN 50 (50 mm) = 97 mm
Schlüter-KERDI-LINE-H 50 G2 with a horizontal forward facing drain features an integrated odour trap. In compliance with DIN EN 1253, it has a drain capacity of ≥ 0.8 l/s with an accumulation height of 2 cm and a water trap height of 50 mm.
Channel support height: DN 50 (50 mm) = 120 mm
Schlüter-KERDI-LINE-F with a horizontal forward facing drain features an odour trap integrated in the drain body.
Height of channel support: DN 40 (40 mm) = 60 mm DN 50 (50 mm) = 97 mm
Schlüter-KERDI-LINE-V, -VS and -KERDI-LINE-VOS for vertical drainage – for example, through the floor level – is available with various equipment. KERDI-LINE-V has an odour trap built into the drain body. KERDI-LINE-VS and KERDI-LINE-VOS are delivered with a trap section – including with off-centre drain for KERDI-LINE-VOS.
Channel support height: DN 50 (50 mm) = 24 mm
Schlüter-KERDI-LINE-V 50 G2 for vertical drainage features an integrated odour trap. In compliance with DIN EN 1253, it has a drain capacity of ≥ 1.0 l/s with an accumulation height of 2 cm and a water trap height of 50 mm.
Channel support height: DN 50 (50 mm) = 48 mm
All drainage systems listed are available for contour frames with design grates as well as for profile frames and TF frames!
In case of KERDI-LINE-H 50 and KERDI-LINE-H 40, the channel body is inserted into the appropriate polystyrene channel support for quick and easy installation. The channel body and channel support of KERDI-LINE-V, KERDI-LINE-H 50 G2 and KERDI-LINE-F are permanently connected.
The perimeter of the channel body consists of an adhesive flange that is coated with a collar from the KERDI waterproofing system. It ensures the reliable connection of the channel body to the bonded waterproofing assembly in the floor area and on upright walls. In conjunction with the waterproofing systems Schlüter-KERDI, Schlüter-DITRA, Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT or Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD and the matching system adhesives Schlüter-KERDI-COLL-L or Schlüter-KERDI-FIX, installers can create certified bonded waterproofing assemblies with connecting linear drainage.
KERDI-LINE is a system component that complies with the German waterproofing standard DIN 18534. Together with the above-listed Schlüter-Systems it has general technical approval (abP) in Germany. Please refer to the respective product data sheets for information about the moisture exposure classes according to abP. KERDI-LINE is a system component with European Technical Assessment (ETA) according to ETAG 022 (watertight covering kits). The above-mentioned Schlüter products tested with KERDI-LINE carry the CE mark.
Note: Schlüter-KERDI-LINE and frame assemblies must be installed with cement-based tile adhesives. The use of acetic-crosslinking silicone is not permissible on channels, frames and grates.
The visible surfaces of the profile frame and grates – whether solid or embossed – are made of brushed, polished stainless steel or powder coated stainless steel. A tile grate is available for the profile frame and for the TF frame. In addition, we offer a frameless covering support that is suitable for any height (KERDI-LINE-D).
