We also offer the option of adding laser engraving to several of our shower drains – and a selection of our products can be ordered in 190 exclusive RAL colours as well as with custom designs.
Vanity and shelving
Ready-made washbasins or shelves do not always fit into the available space or offer the desired functionality. With our special Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD substrate panels, you can create a washbasin or shelf made to your exact specifications much faster than when using traditional materials.
Waterproof, temperature-resistant and tileable, the thickest version of KERDI-BOARD (50 mm) can be used for washbasins and vanity cabinets as well as for shelves. Don't be fooled by how light the material is and how easy it can be cut with a box cutter – KERDI-BOARD can withstand considerable loads.
Here's a useful tip: with our substrate panels, you can cut your washbasin or shelf to the exact size of your tiles, which means you don't have to cut tiles to size first, resulting in a clean and elegant outcome.
Seating
If you want to design a barrier-free bathroom, you should consider seating or a bench. A seating area is not only trendy, but also provides a comfortable place to keep shampoo nearby, sit down and relax, or improve accessibility for the whole family.
Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD is the ideal material for creating ready-to-tile shower benches. It is easy to cut with a utility knife and can thus be quickly adapted to the size and design of your bench.
With Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD-V, a vertically grooved panel, you can create a curved seating surface or wall, and with Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT-E you can even install an electric radiant panel heating system to transform your bathroom into a wellness area.
Partition systems
Bathrooms, wet rooms and other sanitary facilities often require partition walls to create separate shower or toilet cubicles or to divide rooms. The construction of these walls from masonry blocks or stud structures is time-consuming and often requires further preparation before tiling can begin.
Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD with a suitable panel thickness (38 or 50 mm, depending on the project) can be used to quickly and easily create stable and self-supporting partition walls that are ready to tile. KERDI-BOARD is ideal for creating all types of partitions, from simple partition walls to complete WC and shower facilities and public changing cubicles.
Curved walls
Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD-V is a vertically grooved panel that allows you to take your tiling project to the next level by incorporating rounded and curved elements in your design. KERDI-BOARD-V can be easily used to create bathtub surrounds, freestanding curved walls, and curved coverings for plumbing elements, duct work, columns, and more.
This variable variant of KERDI-BOARD can also be used to create tiled seats or benches that adapt to the shape of your body thanks to the curvature. Combine the grooved installation panel with our electric panel heating and transform your ordinary bathroom into an exclusive dream bathroom with a spa ambience.

Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD-V
The "V" in the designation stands for both "vertically slotted installation and construction panel" and "variable" – that's because this panel can be formed according to your individual needs and thus adapted to showers in helical design or curved sauna benches, for example.
Colourful trims
An assortment of Schlüter trims and the wall storage solution Schlüter-SHELF can now be ordered in the 190 colours of the RAL Classic chart - with selections including golden yellow, emerald green and blue grey. Customise your Schlüter products to your exact colour specifications. Particularly suited to larger commercial projects, you can now specify Schlüter products in finishes right across the colour spectrum.
Customised shower drains
You can apply your own design to the Schlüter-KERDI-LINE linear drains to give showers a special personal touch. Engraved logos, images, or texts can be added in a choice of three different engraving types – deep, surface, or crosshatch engraving. Engraving choices depend on the selected motif and your design preferences. Perfect for hotel chains that want to include their branding or a family who want to see a friendly message in the mornings.
Custom printing
Our popular wall and skirting profiles can now also be matched to the tile design with modern printing technology. Create an exact match to the colour or pattern of tile for almost invisible tile edge protection, or choose to completely contrast.
