Quality education

As a family-run business, Schlüter-Systems stands for openness and flexibility as well as for reliable values and a company culture that encourages mutual development.

Diverse team in a meeting.

Forward thinker. Enabler of possibilities. Opportunity provider.

At Schlüter-Systems, we embrace a spirit of cooperation that provides opportunities for collective growth, professional development and personal fulfilment. That's why we create an environment where experience encounters fresh ideas, where generations can strengthen each other and where people want to progress with one another. Generalists and specialists, movers and shakers work with us hand in hand to exchange knowledge, to learn from each other and to transform ideas into practical solutions.

Opening up new opportunities. Strengthening perspectives. Supporting individuals.

No matter whether it's training, a fresh start or the next level: at Schlüter-Systems, the pursuit of development is no less important than the desire for guidance, stability and a good workplace. Every path is different – we follow each of them with an open mind and perspective. Individual. Collegiate. And always with honest feedback. Because only by being heard can a person flourish.

Making a good impression from the very beginning. And really hitting the ground running.

If you join us, you'll hit the ground running – right from day one. We use structured onboarding to ensure a successful start. Because first impressions count and they lay the foundation of successful collaboration. Each new colleague receives a personalised induction plan with clear steps and one-to-one support. Experienced contacts are there to assist and offer guidance, as well as providing an opportunity to ask questions.

Induction training is not just about passing on specialist knowledge about products, processes and structures however. It is just as important to settle into the team, establish initial networks, become familiar with the relevant departments – and get to know our company culture. Because when someone joins us, they should quickly feel at home and understand what we are about: team spirit, respect, passion and genuine appreciation.

This is how we create an open-minded working environment from the very first moment, where new employees do not remain ‘new’ for long, but quickly become part of the Schlüter family.

Real people with real jobs: In our YouTube playlist ‘Behind the Job’, Schlüter employees share interesting insights into a variety of different professions, talk about their respective career paths and explain what makes the Schlüter family so special.

At Schlüter-Systems, our apprentices and students of combined study and work programmes don't just start with their first job, rather they immerse themselves directly into the real working environment: from the very first day of their apprenticeship, they are part of the Schlüter family and take on tasks in exciting projects. Very practical, versatile and always on an equal footing, whether in the office, in production or logistics. It is not only their technical skills that count, but also team spirit. Because we are well aware that employees who feel comfortable and understood can excel both professionally and personally.

Schlüter-Systems is currently training more than 40 young people in 15 vocations – and regularly receives top grades from our graduates for the excellent quality of our training: In 2025, we received the ‘Outstanding Training Company’ award for the eleventh consecutive year.

The AzubiBox is not just about knowledge – personal and specialist technical development are also important here. A spacious team meeting area provides space for workshops and teamwork, while the lounge is the perfect place to relax. Fixed programmes such as seminars, exam preparation or cooking together round off the concept. What's more, there is always a contact person on site – to answer any questions about the apprenticeship and whatever else may arise.

Specialist training: constant advancement.

Standing still is not an option. Staying ahead of the competition in the long term requires a strong team – one that is dedicated, expert and forward-thinking. At Schlüter-Systems, that is why we prioritise new approaches and continuous learning over routine. Our internal specialist training programme is extensive, practical and tailored to the requirements of our employees. This creates the basis for personal growth. And for collective success.

Our internal learning platform, SchlüterU, offers our employees a wide range of qualification options: e-learning courses with product-specific innovations as well as online and face-to-face training courses ensure high standards of knowledge and help to develop technical and methodological skills. The professional development catalogue is rounded off by soft skill and language training.

Know-how? We pass it on.

Collegial knowledge, specialist expertise and many years of experience actively contribute to the internal transfer of know-how. Whether in projects, day-to-day business or spontaneous challenges: we learn from each other and with each other. This creates a culture of specialist training that fosters genuine development – for each individual employee as well as the whole team.

Leadership culture: clear, spirit of cooperation, forward-thinking.

Schlüter-Systems is growing – and with us, the requirements of a modern business management system. This is because new structures, new roles and around 850 employees at the Iserlohn headquarters now require more direction, clarity and commitment than ever before. The answer: our leadership project under the motto ‘Guide and Inspire Your Team’. This is how we empower leaders, provide them with practical tools to hand and create space for dialogue and development.

Because leadership is more than management. It inspires, encourages and leads the way. Our managers think ahead, are courageous in their decision-making and are able to motivate their teams even in challenging times. They recognise potential, promote talented individuals and create an environment in which performance is met with trust. This has resulted in a new management culture at Schlüter-Systems: clear in its aspirations, resolute in its actions, moving forward together.

Submitting feedback. Because every opinion counts – and makes us stronger.

At Schlüter-Systems, open honest feedback is not an obligatory exercise, but a living part of our culture. Because feedback inspires action. It increases self-confidence, boosts the enjoyment of life-long learning and drives us forward as the Schlüter family. It is precisely this constructive exchange – even on critical issues – that requires clarity, confidence and a willingness to grow together.

As a company that's always learning, this is exactly the attitude that we strive for. Because only then can we really see what drives us forward – and what might still be holding us back. Whether by e-mail, in person or by telephone: we welcome straightforward and direct feedback. We also provide tools and processes that specifically promote this exchange.

Schlüter-Systems welcomes feedback from all levels and in all directions. It is a comprehensive culture that helps us to constantly become better.

Unwavering partnership. Inclusion in action.

Schlüter-Systems and Iserlohner Werkstätten (ISWE) have been working hand in hand for more than 30 years – a partnership that continues to grow. What began in 2012 with the first ISWE team on the Schlüter campus has developed into a successful cooperation: there are now already 30 colleagues actively working on our premises. Supported by integration mentors, they assemble and package around 400 products that reflect our high quality standards.

These company-integrated workplaces enable our ISWE colleagues to make use of their skills in a regular working environment and to gather valuable experience. This is because we believe that inclusion means giving people a realistic opportunity to develop and work together.

We attach great importance to the inclusion of people with disabilities. Our ISWE colleagues are equal members of the Schlüter family, who are truly integrated in everyday business.
