Because prolonged sitting can lead to strain and back pain, height-adjustable desks are standard at our company. They facilitate regular alternation between sitting and standing. Flexible movement stimulates circulation, increases concentration and prevents fatigue.

Our spacious, well-lit office spaces create a friendly atmosphere and have a positive effect on concentration and well-being. Working in natural light reduces fatigue, improves morale and saves energy at the same time.

Promoting health over the long-term: Exoskeletons in use
The exoskeletons ensure a relaxed posture and prevent unhealthy upper body rotations or incorrect flexing of limbs. But the change needs some getting used to. Lifting from the back alone has to be practised first. The new movement routines are learned through training and then a one-month adaptation phase. There is no need to worry about muscle loss by the way: in fact, the opposite is true.
How can strenuous activities that call for strength and endurance be made more ergonomic? One innovative solution we are pursuing in warehouse logistics is the use of exoskeletons. The wearable assistance systems provide targeted relief for physically demanding tasks.

Smart data collection gives us trainers insight into the evaluation of the devices and we can provide direct support when needed. The difference that wearing an exoskeleton makes is also visualised using concrete figures. Thanks to the multi-layered relief it provides to the body, the long-term effect on health is enormous.

In order to identify risks at an early stage and to prevent accidents, we rely on preventive concepts, modern safety solutions and qualified specialist personnel.
Regular safety training: Besides the obligatory safety training when starting a job, we train our employees once a year in important protective measures to minimise risks and raise awareness of hazards.
Personal protective equipment: From custom-made hearing protection to individual foot measurement – we ensure that every employee is optimally equipped and protected for their activities.
Emergency management for crisis situations: A detailed crisis plan for large-scale incidents ensures that rapid and appropriate action is taken in an emergency.
Measurement of environmental conditions: In order to optimise working conditions and ensure a pleasant environment, we regularly record ambient climatic factors. These include CO₂ emissions, temperature, air pressure, relative humidity, draughts and noise levels.

Training and team spirit – what Schlüter employees say
The company gym saves me time and money – that I can invest in leisure and recreation. I can start my after-work activities as soon as I leave the Schlüter Campus after the training, without having to make a detour to a public gym. Sport also has a noticeable effect on fitness and stress levels. Training is particularly efficient thanks to professional coaching – from instruction on how to use the equipment to individual advice, optimum support is always provided.
We welcome the chance to get to know each other outside of our usual working environment. Shared experiences strengthen cohesion, foster familiarity among colleagues and create a sense of unity. Facing challenges together helps a team grow. That is why we promote sporting leisure activities, so that team spirit can also be cultivated outside the office and production halls. Commuting to work by bike is a great way to compensate for sedentary office work. This way, exercise can be easily integrated into everyday life – especially during leisure time. Not only does the bike get me to work, it also inspires me to discover new landscapes.
We course participants have already become a well-oiled team, and there is a friendly atmosphere in a motivating environment. No matter what age or fitness level – everybody is included. Clear progress, one-to-one support and straightforward coordination with working hours make this offer unbeatable.
