Design award for Schlüter-Systems
Award in the building technology category
The new Schlüter-TREP-V stair nosing profile from Iserlohn-based Schlüter-Systems KG has won the iF Design Award for the "Product" discipline in the "Building technology" category. The internationally renowned award is presented once a year by the oldest independent design institution in the world, iF International Forum Design GmbH.
With replaceable, structured inserts in a variety of colours, TREP-V fulfils both the latest developments in slip resistance and the requirements of current regulations on barrier-free construction. TREP-V offers optimal support for the safe use of stairs and contributes significantly to a harmonious overall appearance – thus combining design and function.
This innovative concept also convinced the 132 experts of the international jury of the iF Design Award – they selected TREP-V from almost 11,000 submissions from 72 countries and awarded it the coveted seal of quality.
