General product information

What this product does

The sealing lip is available in a convenient 2.5m length.

Note: The extended sealing lip DB ZS LL 3/LG also absorbs screed shrinkage in new construction

How to install this product

  1. Remove any substances that may inhibit bonding, such as grease etc. prior to applying the installation adhesive.
  2. Adhere Schlüter-DESIGNBASE-SL with the installation adhesive Schlüter-KERDI-FIX or an equivalent material. Apply a sufficient number of adhesive spots on the reverse of the profile and set the profile in place.
Note: Optionally, the profile can be equipped with a sealing lip that is available as an accessory to protect the edge joint from moisture and to reduce the transmission of impact sound. The sealing lip is pressed firmly into the profile from the front for the aluminium variant, or clipped on from the back for the stainless steel variant, so that its front edge is flush with the profile.
  3. Remove any excess adhesive with a suitable cleaning product.
