Schlüter-DILEX-HKW  PVC cove shaped profile for internal wall corners

Schlüter-DILEX-HKW is a cove shaped profile for facilitating proper maintenance of internal wall corners in ceramic tile surfaces. The profile meets high sanitary requirements, making it particularly suitable for use in commercial kitchens, restrooms, showers and the food industry. DILEX-HKW absorbs minor movements occurring within inner corner areas.

End caps, as well as inside and outside corners, are available.

As a cove shaped profile for internal wall corners, DILEX-HKW can be used in conjunction with Schlüter-DILEX-HK to form floor-wall connections.

1. Select Schlüter-DILEX-HKW according to tile thickness.
2. Embed the trapezoid perforated anchoring legs, firmly press the profile into the adhesive and trowel mortar over the profile legs.
3. Leave a gap of approx. 2 mm between the tiles and the profile.
4. Completely fill the space between the profile and the tile with grout.

Schlüter-DILEX-HKW consists of trapezoid-perforated anchoring legs made from recycled rigid PVC, connected by a rigid PVC cove which is available in several colours.

Material properties and areas of application

The cove shaped profile DILEX-HKW may be used for floor/wall connections in tile coverings over bonded screeds.

The profile is made of recycled rigid PVC and absorbs minor movements within corner areas.

The material is resistant to fungi and bacteria and is suited for use around food. Furthermore, it is resistant to most chemicals encountered in tiled environments.

In special cases, the suitability of a profile type must be verified based on the anticipated chemical, mechanical, and/or other stresses.
